Sacred dances 2004

Sacred Dances

His Holiness Karmapa's European tour was preceded and announced by Lamas from the Monastery of Rumtek, who performed their sacred dances in the places His Holiness would visit.

These true meditation dances give the audience access to a direct experience of inner peace. Compassion, transformation of conflictive emotions and pure vision, base of the Buddha's teachings, are at the heart of these sacred dances

The lamas and monks of the "Pal Karmae Sangha" Community of Rumtek took advantage of their stay in Navarra to visit the Monastery of Leyre, in keeping with the ecumenical spirit of the founder of the KMD Centre, J.J. Juanotena, Bodhisattva Lama Jesús.

The usual Gregorian Chants give way for a moment
to a prayer for peace, sung in Tibetan.

A very friendly meeting.
