These visits take place on weekdays within the school timetable and are directed towards those students who, as part of their studies in Social Sciences, Philosophy or Religion, want to know about the essentials of Buddhism, its symbolism and the vision and understanding of existence which it offers us.
The students are given the opportunity to circumambulate the Stupas, turn the prayer wheels, visit the temple and observe the different “meditation supports” such as statues and tankas. Direct teaching and contact with the Centre give them a first-hand, live knowledge which helps create a better understanding of this philosophy-religion.
During the visit people who practice in the Centre will show the students around and explain the meaning of all they see. After that the Lama himself will transmit some of the bases of Tibetan Buddhism.
OTHER GROUPS
OTHER GROUPS of people can visit the Centre from Monday to Saturday or on Sundays or holidays. It is necessary to arrange the date and time of visits beforehand.
